Hermione Hennessy @ the Gallery Friday 1st October
The name Christie Hennessy is well-known in the pantheon of Irish music Legends. Proving the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, his daughter Hermione releases her new album in the UK 'Songs My Father Taught Me' in Spring 2011.
A classically trained pianist with a voice inherited from a legend, she has worked with a diversity of acts from Groove Armada through to Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, via Will Smith and R Kelly, through her company Black and Blonde.
Hermione Hennessy preforms at the Gallery on Friday 1st October. Doors at 6.30pm with Hermione on stage at 8.30pm.

Altan @ the Gallery Sunday 12th September
Altan are celebrating 25 years together in 2010 and over those years have established themselves as one of the most important live acts to play traditional Irish music in Ireland and on the world stage. The Boston Globe has described them as "The hottest group in the Celtic realm!" Altan have toured all over the USA and Europe. They also enjoy popularity in Japan where they frequently tour and have hosted Altan festivals in the middle of Tokyo to thousands of enthusiastic fans.
Altan, arguably Ireland's biggest name in traditional music will play at the Gallery on Sunday 12 September.
Doors open at 6.30pm with Altan on stage at 8.30pm.
